I am interested in the topic of international students because I am interested to see what made them choose to study abroad. Also, I want to know what it feels like to study in a different country as I had wanted to study abroad for a semester before covid happened.
This is a great topic. I had an international student do a great paper on this topic last year, and I can share one of the books she used (of which I was able to get a scan). She wrote about anxiety and stress among international college students -- and that was BEFORE COVID-19 hit! There is also a lot of information on this topic, and lots of angles -- including the way that public research universities in the US are competing for international students to bring in the extra fees that they pay (which are even more than those paid by out of state students).
